Prof. Kai Yang
Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China
Experience: Prof. Kai Yang, associate dean of School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (SEEE), Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST). Visiting scholar at the University of Leuven in Belgium and visiting professor at the University of Changwon in Korea. In recent years, he has presided over four National Natural Science Fund projects, two major national science and technology projects, one national support plan, one 863 Project, one provincial fund, one international cooperation project, and more than 40 other school-enterprise cooperation projects. He has published more than 200 papers of the first author in the important academic journals at home and abroad, among which 170 papers are included in Sci/ei. There are 25 patents for invention and 38 patents for utility model.
Prof. Valentina E. Balas
Aurel Vlaicu University Of Arad, Romania
Experience: Prof. Valentina E. Balas is currently Full Professor in the Department of Automatics and Applied Software at the Faculty of Engineering, “Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad, Romania. She holds a Ph.D. Cum Laude, in Applied Electronics and Telecommunications from Polytechnic University of Timisoara. Dr. Balas is author of more than 350 research papers in refereed journals and International Conferences. Her research interests are in Intelligent Systems, Fuzzy Control, Soft Computing, Smart Sensors, Information Fusion, Modeling and Simulation. She is the Editor-in Chief to International Journal of Advanced Intelligence Paradigms (IJAIP) and to International Journal of Computational Systems Engineering (IJCSysE), member in Editorial Board member of several national and international journals and is evaluator expert for national, international projects and PhD Thesis.
Prof. Balas is the director of Intelligent Systems Research Centre in Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad and Director of the Department of International Relations, Programs and Projects in the same university. She served as General Chair of the International Workshop Soft Computing and Applications (SOFA) in nine editions organized in the interval 2005-2020 and held in Romania and Hungary. She participated in many international conferences as Organizer, Honorary Chair, Session Chair, member in Steering, Advisory or International Program Committees and Keynote Speaker.
Now she is working in a national project with EU funding support: BioCell-NanoART = Novel Bio-inspired Cellular Nano-Architectures - For Digital Integrated Circuits, 3M Euro from National Authority for Scientific Research and Innovation. She is a member of European Society for Fuzzy Logic and Technology (EUSFLAT), member of Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) and a Senior Member IEEE, member in Technical Committee – Fuzzy Systems (IEEE Computational Intelligence Society), chair of the Task Force 14 in Technical Committee – Emergent Technologies (IEEE CIS), member in Technical Committee – Soft Computing (IEEE SMCS). She was past Vice-president (responsible with Awards) of IFSA - International Fuzzy Systems Association Council (2013-2015), is a Joint Secretary of the Governing Council of Forum for Interdisciplinary Mathematics (FIM), - A Multidisciplinary Academic Body, India and recipient of the "Tudor Tanasescu" Prize from the Romanian Academy for contributions in the field of soft computing methods (2019).
Prof. Prof. Junxi Bi
Inner Mongolia University of technology
Experience: Prof. Junxi Bi is a Ph.D of engineering and a master instructor of mechanical engineering / transportation of Inner Mongolia University of technology, dissertation review expert of China Academic Degrees & Graduate Education Development Center, member of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Professional Standardization Technical Committee, vice-chairman special committee of Reliability and Quality Management of Electronic Products of Sichuan Institute of Electronics, expert of Science and Technology Expert Database of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, senior member of CHINESE MECHANICAL ENGINEERING SOCIETY, expert of Defective Product Recall Expert Database of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, member of China Digital Simulation alliance, patent application engineer. He has presided nearly 20 national / provincial and ministerial teaching and scientific research projects, such as National Natural Science Foundation of China, Inner Mongolia natural science foundation, Inner Mongolia Science and technology plan project and Industry-University-Research Collaboration project.He has published more than 50 papers, including 20 SCI/EI articles, obtained 4 authorized invention patents, 22 practical new patents and 1 software copyright. Also he has participated in the formulation of 2 energy industry standards of the national energy administration and a local metrological verification regulation and calibration specification of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. He has published 1 National Planning Textbook and participated in writing a monograph. His main directions include reliability design, manufacturing, optimization and control of complex electromechanical equipment; Fault diagnosis and performance prediction of large equipment; Digital machining and intelligent manufacturing technology.
Assoc. Prof. Guomin Luo
Beijing Jiaotong University
Experience: Prof. Guomin Luo is an associate professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Electrical Engineering, Beijing Jiaotong University. She has been engaged in the research of power system transient signal analysis and processing for a long time. The research fields include power system online monitoring, transient signal detection and analysis, signal processing, denoising, time-frequency analysis, line protection, fault location, and artificial intelligence technology in power system applications, etc. She is the Excellent reviewer of "Chinese Journal of Electrical Engineering" and "Power Grid Technology", member of the Artificial Intelligence Special Committee of the Electrical Engineering Society, reviewer of IEEE Sensors, IEEE Access, IET S M&T and other journals in the past five years. Presided over and participated in the National Natural Science Foundation of China Youth Fund. She has more than 10 projects such as 863 Program, National Key R&D Program, etc., and has published more than 30 papers in international and domestic journals and conferences.
